The Sports profile (advance) offers insight into an extensive range of health markers related to sports performance such as muscle health, bone health, hormonal health, tissue damage and inflammation.

  • Lactate Dehydrogenase
  • Creatine Kinase
  • Total Testosterone
  • CRP
  • Vitamin D (25 OH)
  • Phosphate
  • Adjusted Calcium
  • Uric Acid (Gout)

You should consider getting tested if you:

  • You want to check how your health could be affecting your sports performance
  • You want to track markers that are important for sports performance
  • You take supplements raising testosterone (steroids of PEDs) and want to check your general health
  • You aren’t gaining muscles mass despite weight training and want to see why
  • You are experiencing muscle and/or joint pain
  • You want to see if your body is under elevated stress

This test should be taken while fasting, or in other words, before you have eaten or drank anything that morning (other than water).

In addition, before taking the test:

  • Wait until symptoms of short-term illness have passed
  • Avoid heavy exercise for 48 hours
  • Avoid fatty foods for 8 hours
