Have you reached menopause or are post-menopause? Are you curious about your hormonal or general health? The Menopause Health test is a great general health check for anyone in this stage of life, especially those who are taking or are considering taking hormone replacement therapy.

Menopause is associated with a progressive increase in total cholesterol and cardiovascular risk. High cholesterol levels can cause your arteries to become blocked, leading to coronary heart disease, heart attack or stroke. Finding out about high levels of cholesterol can help you to make the positive lifestyle and dietary changes needed to improve your chances of a long and healthy life.

The Menopause test checks the following:

  • Cholesterol profile (5 health markers)
  • Thyroid health (1 health marker)
  • Hormonal health (2 health markers)
  • Energy (2 health markers)
  • Bone health (4 biomarkers)

You should take this test if:

  • You have gone through or are going through menopause.
  • You are taking or considering taking hormone replacement therapy.
  • You want to manage your long-term health.

This sample must be collected on day 3 of your menstrual cycle i.e. the third day of your period. If you no longer have periods the test can be taken at any time of the month.
